A year in the making now, 747 Trio, Baba Kahn, Lomaticc, and Sunny Brown are ready to release their album "Culture Shock 2: Blackmarket Edition" Tuesday, November 3, 2009. Not only did this crew celebrate their album's launch, but Bhangra artist Imran Khan was also in the building kicking off his North American tour.  Desi Hits! headed to Toronto to catch all the festivities.

The evening started with sound check and as Imran Khan began to belt out the lyrics to "Amplifier" we knew Toronto was in for a treat. It was only a matter of hours before Embassy Nightclub was to open their doors and get the party started! Eager to see their favorite stars perform, people lined up at the door hoping to be the first ones in.

As fans poured into the club, the DJ played some of the hottest tracks from the 90's up to today. Within a few hours, the 747 Trio took to the stage and the crowd went wild! Not only did DJ Baba Kahn, Lomaticc, and Sunny Brown perform their latest singles "Dil" and "Bombay Bo,"  they also performed a few upcoming releases including "King." The trio was energized and even had a few simple, choreographed routines for their songs. Pretty impressive! We were all treated to live performances of the crew's earlier hits "Tonight" and "Slip and Fall" making the 747 Trio's performance complete. The guys had so much energy and got the entire crowd singing along; they left us wanting just a little more.

Nonetheless, Baba Kahn, Lomaticc, and Sunny Brown completed their set and Imran Khan entered the building. Dressed in jeans, a white tee, slick vest, topped off with sunglasses and his cap, Imran was ready to take the stage. Expecting to hear "Bewafa," "Amplifier," and maybe another track or two, we were surprised when Imran Khan sang 11 out of his 15 songs TWICE! Before each song, Imran Khan treated us to an acapella version. For some it must have been dreams come true and for others maybe an Imran Khan overload. Either way, everyone was singing along and reaching out to the stage in hopes of shaking hands with the singer himself.

Imran Khan is travelling for his "Unforgettable" tour. Fans, keep an eye out for when Imran will be in a town near you. The 747 Trio will be releasing their album November 3 and it will be a free gift to all their fans! Check out the videos from the event and leave us all your thoughts.
