Barrie Osborne to Make Movie About the Prophet Muhammad

Hollywood producer Barrie Osborne, the man behind movies like "Lord of the Rings" and "The Matrix," has revealed his next project.
The Academy Award-winning filmmaker has set his eyes on the Muslim prophet Muhammad and plans to make a biopic if the religious figure. From cinema and fashion to music and now religion, it looks like Hollywood is really embracing the East!
With a budget of $150 million, Osborne told Reuters the movie will depict the life of the prophet and "educate people about the true meaning of Islam." To respect the Muslim faith, the prophet himself will not be depicted on screen but the drama will feature English-speaking Muslim actors.
While the biopic does not yet have a title, it is planned to start shooting in 2011.

If the movie can depict the Prophet's life without actually showing a face or person acting as him. I think it's great.
