Well, well, well, look where you hear Desi tunes now!  Kazz Kumar has come out with some very non- Desi influenced tracks in her solo career, but with the world loving all things Desi right now the songstress decided to give her track "Dirty Word" a dose of Desi flavor. She got Sona Family bandmate JC to bring in some Bhangra beats on her track.  

JC is not known for mixing Bhangra beats, but he was down to mix in this hot genre onto Kazz Kumar’s song. "It’s been a great experience working on something other than hip hop or house music using different instruments and sounds. It’s made me want to do a full-on Desi album," JC told us.  

The DJ teamed up with Bhangra singer Dalvinder Singh who lends his traditional Punjabi vocals to the track.  Dalvinder told us he was ecstatic about working with Kazz, "An amazing experience and a great honor to be working with Kazz, an amazing vocalist & JC, an exceptional talent. Many Thanks to the Sona Family!!"   

Desi Hits! spoke to trendy gal Kazz herself  to hear what she had to say about "Dirty Word" getting a Desi makeover. "When I first heard the remix, I was totally blown away! I’m not even a Bhangra fan, I don’t listen to that genre of music,  it’s never been my cup of tea, but hey I LOVE this remix!! I’d dance to this! If you want a wicked Desi mix, you need to holla at JC! And Dalvinder has amazing vocals, I could listen to him sing all day!"
