Shahrukh Khan Receives Black Belt in Taekwondo

Shahrukh Khan may not be a master in Taekwondo, but the South Korean embassy in Mumbai still gave the Bollywood big shot a black belt in the martial art form, along with another special honor for his work as ambassador in culture and tourism.
"The Korean government has decided to confer an honorary belt in taekwondo to Shahrukh and they are also giving him the title of an honorary ambassador for culture and tourism," Shahrukh's spokesperson told reporters on Wednesday.
The honor will be handed to the B-town superstar at the Taj Lands End hotel in Mumbai on Thursday.
The honorary black belt in Taekwondo will be the second international honor for SRK this year. In July, he received an honorary doctorate in arts and culture by Bedfordshire University in London for his contribution to art and cinema. Late last year, he also received the honorary titleof 'Datuk' from the Malaysian government.

Sure he deserve this award because he is the king of bollywood, for all who envious SRK for his fans or loved ones die of jealousy.

SRK is a fool to accept this. he does not deserve this at all. he is not even related to this sport. even if the koreans gave him a black belt, he himself should think and ask himself does he really deserve this black belt and he will get the answer. I will consider him to be a black belt if he does the first poomse whenever somebody asks him to perform. I myself practice tkd and i really dont accept this. how and why did the koreans did this? and for what reason? There are more than lakhs of people who practice this sport and i am sure all will be very upset hearing this. we are training for almost 10 - 15 years and after a lot of hard work and pain and practice we get our black belt and i just want to know how the hell on earth did he get this and for what?. Has he ever shown any contribution to this sport till now? NO NOT AT ALL. if ISHA KOPIKAR would have been giving this instead of him I would have liked this. i know she is a black belt.

The whole story proves one and the only fact : the world loves Shahrukh . i am glad to see SRK smiling . Be it a belt or some degree . i honour you with my kiss as i love you too !

good grief. he doesnt deserve half the stuff he earning. he memorizes a few lines and does a few dance moves. big whoop. now hes a pretend black belt in tae kwon do. he probably couldnt handle a week of training with all his injuries and what not
