Asif and Martti, the dynamic duo who represent Fusing Naked Beats, and West London's hottest producers are back with their third album Witness of the World released on their label Just Play Records Fusing Naked Beats, have a unique versatile style which is slowly evolving the contemporary Asian scene into an altogether more urban, edgy soundscape with a new direction. DJ Asif who founded Fusing Naked Beats expresses a variety of different types of musical styles. His musical career evolved from traditional Asian music and its rhythms to playing in a punk band and moving on to experiment with hip-hop and electronic music. His sound is crafted by exploring Eastern and Western cultures alike, creating limitless musical possibilities and new exciting sounds. Urbanized from the Asian Underground scene, DJ Asif is the latest spin-master and producer to join the ranks of the universal dance world. Together with his project Fusing Naked Beats, Asif blends Arabic rhythms and Eastern vibes with his background in hip- hop and deep beats transporting his sound all over Europe and Asia. Also renowned as being an accomplished guitarist and songwriter, Asif's main strength lies in music production and he gained a BA in Commercial Music in 2004. As part of Fusing Naked Beats, Asif and MRT have produced tracks for General Levy, Hard-Kaur, Shahin Badar, Mic Assassin, Miss Kat, Najma Akhtar. His release Digital Asia (Just Play Records, 2005) was number 1 on Radio One's Bobby Friction and Nihal's top ten tracks of 2005.

At present Fusing Naked Beats have released their new album 'Witness of the World' 2007 to critical acclaim. Asif has previously supported acts as Leftfield, Talvin Singh, Nitin Sawhney and Asian Dub Foundation, Asif has also scored and contributed music to a number of short films including Another Day, Alma Mater and Taqwa. Asif has been involved in various film sessions including the British movie Bollywood Queen. With a succession of singles and albums under his belt and a distinctive trademark sound, DJ Asif is continually looking for challenges and ways to expand and make his creative mark in the music industry. Martti has now been a music producer for four years. His musical background came from his DJing career within the UK Garage scene during 97-2000. Whilst developing his skills as a DJ he also took interest in making his own music and soon developed his ideas while studying Music Technology at Long Road in Cambridge. In further developing his talents as a producer Martti decided to study Commercial Music at Westminster University. While on the course he met Asif whom he became friends with. Within their last year at university Martti and Asif set up their label 'Just Play Records' and began working on a number of tracks together that have since become classics on the Asian Underground scene. The fusing of their styles has created a unique sound that includes influences from a wide spectrum of musical tastes. His collaboration into the Fusing Naked Beats collective has been his most successful musical venture yet and he truly believes that the journey is just beginning for the dynamic duo!
