Gubi Sandhu was born in Leicester, UK and is a famous Bhangra singer. He made his debut when he was 19 years old with the Bhangra song "Sah Ruk Dha" He received the UK Asian Music award for Best Album of 2003 for Dil Karda. Gubi Sandhu has worked with the likes of RDB and Bally Jagpal.

Since Gubi Sandhu first appeared on the album 'Danger' with the smash hit track 'Sah rukh dha' at the age of 19, he set himself heights that, at the time, seemed too high to follow. That theory was soon to be proved wrong as in August 2002, he appeared on the compilation album 'Urban Flavas Vol.1' and delivered what was to be the urban track of 2002/2003 'Dil Karda'. The story doesn’t end there. The following year Gubi signed a 2 album deal and finally due to public demand released his debut album titled 'Dil Karda - The Album'. Only a few months after its release Gubi won the best album of 2003 award at the first ever UK Asian music awards which was screened on ITV. Since then, Gubi has released his second album 'Sold My Soul' which has been a successful album for Gubi and the record company that released it.

With his 3rd album scheduled for release end of 2008 Gubi Sandhu is without doubt the definitive voice of the Asian street sound.
