During their recent trip to Mumbai and Dubai, they worked on several movie deals and performed at a sold out show in Dubai inside Tribe Nightclub at the Crown Plaza Hotel - they are now back and ready for action! Currently, their latest video “Turn the Music Up” is gaining immense momentum with over 1000 views a day climbing to the # 3 most viewed video on Youtube Canada. It has also been licensed to an upcoming movie, Bollywood Beats, which is set to release in 2009.....

We’re proud to announce that The Bilz & Kashif reached 2^nd place in the biggest competition in the Bollywood music industry, remixing for Sony/BMG platinum selling recording artist, Sean Kingston. DJ Vicious asserted, “Initially, we were told to give it a Bollywood vibe so we went into the studio and jammed. We weren't to crazy about the first version we came up with but one day late at night, Master D got up and said ‘Wait, I think I got it!!'. Then, Kashif came in and he jumped on the track too.” The Bilz & Kashif want to thank all their fans who showed their support and voted for their remix!  If all that wasn’t enough, they have just signed a with a reputable PR firm in the U.K who will help brand The Bilz & Kashif even further in the European market. “We were impressed with how much they have achieved over the years in North America that we just had to get them heard more in the U.K” – Gurpreet.” There will be a new website launching for The Bilz & Kashif very soon which will feature additional tracks from the brand new album – Breaking Barriers – which is currently in negotiations with two major labels. “The release date is still being debated. The current state of the industry is a bit slow but, it’s not stopping us in making the album really big – Kashif”. “We got a platinum selling rapper on a track titled “Rags 2 Riches”. This track will definitely break barriers. It talks about how you need to keep yourself grounded no matter how rich you become in life, know your roots - Vicious.”....

Pritish Nandy Communications, leading Bollywood Studio and its partner Motion Pixel Corporation, one of the premier independent animated studios in the Americas announced today that the group has signed a deal with leading Urban/Pop record label Bilz Music. PNC Chairman Pritish Nandy, MPC Chairman Manny Bains and COO & Label Manager of Bilz Music, Vishal Urva made the announcement.

The agreement will see Bilz Music sensations The Bilz (DJ Vicious & Master-D) along with their R&B Pop artist Kashif, license their hit songs O Meri Rani (Spanish Fly) and 2 Step Bhangra to EKEH version 2.0 starring Feroz Khan, Fardeen Khan, Koena Mitra, Kay Kay Menon and others.

The Bilz and Kashif have been nominated for a number of awards and recently took home the Best Dance Video of the Year Award at the 2007 Bollywood Music Awards moving them to the top of the music charts in North America and massive popularity worldwide. The duo has earned a spot in Myspace’s Top 10 Canadian Artists and gained over a half-million views on Youtube for both their videos. Their radio success has helped them hold the #1 spot for 3 consecutive weeks on MTV Desi. The Bilz and Kashif are the first to break down barriers and push South Asian Urban music to mainstream audiences in North America. They risked going head on with platinum selling artists like Beyoncé and Justin Timberlake and charting #3 on local Canadian radio.
