Two years later, Guetta followed up with the album Guetta Blaster that featured tracks like The World is Mine with JD Davis, Love Don't Let Me Go and Walking Away by The Egg.

The track When Love Takes Over with Kelly Rowland peaked at #1 on the UK Singles Chart, while the single Sexy Chick featuring Akon that was inspired by Guetta’s mother became a summer anthem.
The same year the Black Eyed Peas released the song I Gotta Feeling produced by Guetta, and 2009 was a good year for the French DJ as he received five nominations at the 52nd Grammy Awards.

The popular producer will drop his fifth album in 2011 that will boast more rock sounds, but it will still be inspired by David’s dance music. "I might make dance music but that doesn't mean I'm not influenced by bands like Kings of Leon and Coldplay," Guetta told the Daily Star.”
