OMG, what's the deal with the Kingfisher girls! We were oh so excited when the pictures of the 2009 Kingfisher Calendar landed on our desk! Unfortunately the calendar models turned out to be not so cute! Kingfisher is known to provide their fans with not only some of the hottest locales, photographs and swimsuits, but of course hot women as well! We were hoping that this year the women would be some of the sexiest and while they had some pretty nice bodies, they were well, in short not that cute (I guess the 2009 calendar will be dubbed the 'butter face' edition!).

The models and masterminds behind the calendar gathered together to introduce and promote the new calendar. Bollywood actor, Arjun Rampal made an appearance to support the launch of this event. Everyone seemed to be having a great time as they posed for the pictures, but some of the women were disappointing in their choice of clothing as well as their overall look.

The Chairman of Kingfisher, Vijay Mallya told some sources that he "wanted the photographs to be sensual yet understated so I had briefed the photographer to work in a space that would create such images. The accent was on simplicity and working with natural elements." The concept that Vijay Mallya came up with worked really well in the calendar pictures themselves, which were really beautiful to look at as art pieces.But we are still not sure how long we will want to look at the women themselves, which is the point of the calendar.

We think they have definitely done better in the past and hope that next year's calendar will feature some more smoking hot babes as this year's left us pretty much unsatisfied (we're as limp as a wet noodle).
