You know 50 Cent couldn't come to New York without stirring up some trouble. MTV held their 'TRL' series finale this past weekend in Times Square NY, just around the block from the Desihits NYC office and 50 was there saying some interesting things about his former rival Kanye West's new album '808's and Heartbreak'.
'I think his album is T Pain's record, but I'd rather buy it from T Pain,' said 50. 50 Cent is referring to Kanye West's lack of traditional HipHop on the album, and describes his breaking into the auto-tuned R &B world as an interesting point in Kanye's career. 'I don't think the public will forgive him for it', said 50. Although 50 feels some love struck fools may find comfort in Kanye's love inspired lyrics, his audience may not fully accept or understand exactly what he's trying to accomplish.
50 Cent then crashed someone's interview by the name of Diddy. 'Get out my pocket,' said Diddy as 50 approached the camera. 50 Cent's 'The Money and the Power' reality series had the number one spot in the ratings, and Diddy fears 50 out doing his 'I Want to Work for Diddy' and 'Making the Band' series. 'On 'I Want to work for Diddy', I am gonna physically put my hands on somebody for the ratings just so he won't out do me," said Diddy, "Get off my channel boy." Although 50 and Diddy were laughing and joking about the rivalry, you still can't help but enjoy the competitive nature of these two entrepreneurs. Even with 50's celebration of his number one spot, his album 'Before I Self Destruct' will not see stores until 2009. 50 originally shot for a December 9th 2008 drop date, but couldn't finish in time. The album will be released sometime in early 2009 according to a press release.

lol @ nehas comments. RTV??? classic. nothing wrong with reality tv but it does suck that mtv is turning its back on what it is supposed to be about to exploit the new boom in reality tv culture. as for 50 and kanye west. 50 is nowhere near the artist that kanye is and nor does he possess the intellect of even one of kanyes brain cells. kanyes is UNIVERSALLY adored by fans who not just love rnb but ALL types of music, i went to his concert last week at the o2 in london and i saw so many different people from different backgrounds, white middle class, black, south indian, chinese, you name it they were probably there. kanye said WTE "artists who limit themselves to a genre are f**king idiots. why limit yourself to a particular demographic, a particular genre?" etc etc. he is not JUST rnb he is not JUST a rap artist he is not JUST an amazing producer, he is the BEST at what he does and we cannot ask for more than that. his success is proven by his sales, the amount of airplay he gets, the reviews on his material, hell, even the fact that he can go anywhere in the world and they will like his music. 50 needs to realise he got lucky with his coca cola $400,000,000 deal and his music is good and as a rapper he has made some ok tracks and some great ones that appealed to the masses. he is just another p diddt as far as i am concerned. the REAL people who deserve respect IMO are people like run dmc, russel simmons, tupac, chris wallace, kanye and the like. NOT 50 cent. peace out listeners and readers! ;) to neha and gobi, i like the gubi sandhu idea, but kanya and bhangra would be a dream come true. lol
