Diwali 2008 was a low-key affair for the Bachchans, as the Big B has been advised bed rest. Only a few close friends dropped by to extend wishes to the family. Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan left for South India immediately after Diwali to resume shooting for a Mani Ratnam film. Earlier, when Amitabh Bachchan had taken ill, the two were shooting for the same film and had to be called back to Big B's side. But, now that Amitabhji is recovering, Abhi and Ash are crackin' the whip and getting back to work!
