Loosening up and having more fun, Eve is putting the final touches on her first album in FIVE years and putting her recent DUI arrest behind her. If you didn’t already know she crashed a Maserati in Hollywood last month! A one time stripper Eve has come a long way…from rapper, to actress and now once again rapper! She’s a pitbull in a skirt…she’s glam, funky, sexy, raw and tremendously talented. Her latest project is her forthcoming album ‘Here I Am.’ She ditches the fierce, hard lyrics and slides into a more smooth R&B mode. Pharrell produces many of the tracks so that can mean only one thing…Timbaland and J.T. are sure to make their appearance on this album! Although Eve, tried not to overload the number of collaborators on ‘Here I Am,’ she does have quite a lineup of major industry players. Mary J. Blige, Robin Thicke, T.I., Sean Paul, and Swizz Beatz are all giving the album multiple flavors. From the ragga-inspired number with Sean Paul to the gruff collabo with Tip. Swizz also serves as executive producer of the project and contributes to Eve's lead single, 'Tambourine.' The pair recently shot a video in Los Angeles. The guys on The Block will turn it up a notch with her soon-to-be released first single, so as Arun would say, “Put it in your iPod and smoke it!!!"
