Aamir Khan was all smiles at the recent media screening for his new film, 'Ghajini' at Ketnav studios in Bandra. He wasn't alone though. He had the help of his nephew and newest boy toy in Bollywood, Imran Khan. The two played the perfect hosts to the media and their other guests. So who else graced the screening? Well Aamir Khan's 'Khandala' girl, Rani Mukherjee was there along with her parents, as well as eighties actress Sridevi, husband Boney Kapoor and their kids. Aamir Khan kept things casual as did the rest of his guests.
'Ghajini' was directed by AR Muragadoss and is a remake of the Tamil film of the same name, which was based on the critically acclaimed Hollywood film, 'Memento.' It stars Aamir along with South actress Asin, who's making her debut in Bollywood. It also stars Jiah Khan, Pradeep Rawat and Riyaz Khan. The film centers around Aamir Khan who suffers from anterograde amnesia after a violent attack and can only remember things for 15 minutes. He uses Polaroid images and tattoos on his body to remember occurrences that will help him single-handedly solve the gruesome murder of his model girlfriend.
Initial reviews of 'Ghajini' are tapping it to be a major success and initial ticket sales are through the roof! It's no surprise, as an Aamir Khan movie is always known to be a major event of sorts, and with Aamir Khan doing major promotion all around town, it seems like a given that the film will do well.
