Security guards went into a tizzy when Inernational hip-hip artist, AKON jumped off of the stage during a performance at Channel V’s 13th birthday concert in New Delhi! The crowd was stunned and went wild as he threw himself to the audience! But WAIT, it gets better...when security finally managed to get him back out of the crowd…this crazy cat, runs to the other end of the stage and leaps off of it….he moved this concert into overdrive and raised this event to a whole new level…this guy puts Superman to shame! Akon: These people won't let me get to my people Benny DJ Benny: Wha? Akon: I'll find a way to get to my people Benny! DJ Benny: Yeah you will Akon! Akon: I told them I'll find a way to get to my people DJ Benny: You told 'em Akon! By the time Akon got back on stage, the security guys were no longer interested in letting him out of their reach. Some put their arms around him, most surrounded him from every possible side, in three layers; all of them going everywhere he went. When they realized there was no way he could perform like this, they escorted him off the stage. The concert didn’t begin this rocky… Pakistani singer and cutie, Atif took to the stage, hitting the high notes. Soon after, Bappi Da added that extra disco flavor. Later, Singer Kailash Kher and musical trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy made their appearance. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy accompanied Bollywood babe, Priyanka Chopra in performing tracks from her film ‘Salaam-e-Ishq.’ So would our desi stars ever take a leap from the stage towards their adoring fans? "Indian actors should not jump on stage, it’s scary!" said Priyanka. Scary or not…this did make for a memorable event!!!
