Looks like Mr. over- the-top decided to keep things more mellow than usual for his birthday celebration this year.  From touring the world to promote his films to collaborating with some of the biggest musicians in the biz, Akshay Kumar always goes all out with whatever he does. So it was quite shocking that he didn't do the same for his birthday bash. Instead of having a giant party where he and his wife dressed to impress (well I am sure she probably did, we can never be sure with him) he went for a small gathering at his home. He invited some of his dearest friends. Check out the pictures below to find out who made the guest list.
