Amitabh Bachchan, who turns 66 today, was rushed to Lilavati Hospital in the morning because of stomach pain. Any news concerning the Big B always leads to panic in the industry (he has at least five films on the floor, currently) and his fans flocked to the hospital to pray for the actor.  His office, however, says that that the superstar had just gone in for a regular check-up. 

Amitabh is now back at home with his family. He cancelled all his film shoots in order to spend the day with his family. The Big B had earlier said that he wouldn't be celebrating his birthday since it hasn’t been a year since he lost his mother, Teji Bachchan. "I won't be working, I will be at home with the family, but I will meet whoever comes to wish me," said the superstar, who is rumored to have signed on another reality television show.

At this age, the legendary actor should take the time out to focus more on his health. We wish the Big B a very happy birthday and hope he gets well soon.
