Amitabh Bachchan continues to remain in the hospital for the third consecutive day. News trickled in that the legendary actor had returned home after visiting the hospital for a regular check-up on his 66th birthday. But, later, the actor was rushed back to Lilavati Hospital due to severe stomach pain. 

'Dad was not feeling well throughout the night. He is responding to medication now and will be kept under observation for another day or two', Abhishek Bachchan told the media. 

Many members of the film fraternity came to visit the Big B at the hospital, including Goldie Behl, Apurva Lakhia, JP Dutta, Tinnu Anand and Anil Ambani. Well-wishers and fans keep pouring in to wish Amitabh a speedy recovery. Although he was hospitalized on his birthday, the Big B still made a point to respond to his birthday wishes via SMS.
