After fainting earlier this week, Amy's been undergoing tests and was diagnosed with the early stages of emphysema. 

"With smoking the crack cocaine and the cigarettes her lungs are all gunked up," Mitch Winehouse, Amy's father, tells the Sunday Mirror in the U.K.  "There are nodules around the chest and dark marks. She's got 70 percent lung capacity." 

Amy is in the early stages of emphysema and her father says she now knows she has to stop taking drugs. Quite a sad state isn't it?  We hope Amy gets well soon and is still able to do what she does best once again.
