The United Nations recognized Jay-Z's profound philanthropic work with, the Humanitarium Award, at a private ceremonry, earlier this week. The distiguished honor was presented to Jay-Z for his prior work in raising funds and awareness for the world water crisis. In 2006, his efforts were chronicled in an episode of 'Diary' for MTV. Currently, Jay-Z is prepping for his new album release ('The Blueprint III', out December 3rd), while continuing to aid in local and worldwide issues.
