Ahhh... Chistmas, a time for giving and one singer who is definitely spreading that good ole Holiday cheer is Ashley Simpson. So what’s the present? Well.. Ashlee has revealed a top secret to all her fans! With the recent release of her video for ‘Out of My Head (Ay Ya Ya)’ produced by Timbaland, Simpson has revealed that she is planning on naming her album ‘BitterSweet’ which also happens to be one of the tracks on her upcoming album. She had thought about calling it ‘Color Outside the Lines’ but the title “Bittersweet World” reflects more how she feels about the world right now.

Scheduled to hit stores in March 2008 Ashlee says this album is “cheeky, quirky and sweet"”. ‘Out Of My Head’ she says is about "having so many voices in her head and everybody's opinions." So what can fans expect from this diva? Simpson says that this album is definitely influenced by 80’s music. "I wanted to do music with beats; I wanted to step outside the box. It's where I am in my life. I'm more laid-back, and I want to dance around, and I kind of laugh at things a lot, so you'll hear that on the record" she said.

With a host of collaborations with Chad Hugo, Kenna, J Roe and King Logan to name a few fans can expect this album to be anything but ‘BitterSweet!’ Or at least in March we’ll know from the fans themselves if that was in fact their reaction to her album. But till then you can crunk up the volume on her latest track ‘Out of My Head (Ay Ya Ya).’
