We told you about Australian singer, Peter Andre's, infatuation with Bollywood as the singer discussed it on his trip to Macau, China, for the IIFAs. Well it looks like his performance at the award show really impressed quite a few people because we've learned that the 36 year old has just signed on to star in a Bollywood film! Hmm... now we understand Andre's newfound love of Bollywood!

Peter will play a musician and perform a few numbers that will be shot in London. And the word is he's being paid $1.8 million dollars for it!  Whoa, now that's a pretty penny! We wonder if Peter's going to have to learn some Hindi for the film.

Peter was quoted as saying, "It's a massive industry and I am honored to be invited here to perform. I am looking forward to meeting all the stars, dancing, and singing." He went on to say, "I love the music and what especially attracts me, which western people aren't too aware of, are the notes."
