British channel ITV welcomes a South Asian face to its popular series Coronation Street. The show which has been blasted for its lack of diversity has invited Ayesha Dharker on board to play the character of a woman who is chasing the man her mother is dating. Dharker has starred in a number of British TV serials in the past. Her latest movie 'Loins of Punjab' has attracted much attention.
