If you haven’t heard the hot new track ‘Tonight’ featuring Kardinal Offishall, Fatman Scoop, Lomaticc and Sunny Brown then where the heck have you been?? It’s currently burning up the Desi Hits! radio shows and it’s all thanks to Canada’s most celebrated DJ and now producer – Baba Kahn.

His DJing skills have allowed him to do shows with the likes of Run DMC, Busta Rhymes, Destiny’s Child, Funkmaster Flex, DJ AM and Jazzy Jeff! The self-taught DJ has been perfecting his craft since the age of 14 and has built his name along the way and even ended up opening his own DJ school in Toronto. But for Baba the next phase naturally, was production, thus the release of his double disc album ‘Culture Shock.’ One disc is a east CD with a Hip Hop, Bhangra and Reggae vibe, while disc two has a house, electro and high energy vibe.
The album of course features ‘Tonight’ as well as ‘Shiva’ an electro vibe song that his been getting a lot of radio play in Toronto. Yet, the interesting thing about ‘Tonight’ is that Baba set out to create a track with the east meets west fusion and he tells us he actually recorded 22 different versions of the track before he came up with the one you hear now! So rest assured when you’re listening to a Baba Kahn track you’re listening to the best! And the same goes for his DJ shows. Baba also owns his own Marketing Company so most of the shows he does are also run by him, which means he has a lot more invested in the show and pleasing the crowd.
So while the album hit shelves on March 25th we’ll have a FREE download of track off the album very soon. So remember to keep it locked!
