Wyclef Jean + Bikram Singh = one hell of an amazing record. Bikram Singh linked up with producer and hip hop extraordinaire Wyclef to create a track on DJ Rekha's (Basement Bhangra) upcoming Koch Records release.

Rekha had actually asked Bikram a while back to do a track for the album and the vocals sat there over the years and nothing materialized for a while. But with the album release finalized, Rekha rekindled the record this year and asked him to re-do the vocals on the track in collaboration with Wyclef Jean. And well, the rest is history! The "Basement Bhangra Anthem" was finally born!

Anyone wondering what happened to Kawan's other life? Well you can start looking forward to hearing from a lot more from Kawan! How about "Kawan's Other Life" part two... or more accurately titled: "Ik Waari Aaja", the single to be released from Bikram's upcoming album. A host of talented producers and singers have all teamed up to be apart of Bikram's next project.

The album is being primarily produced by the Scottish masterminds - Tigerstyle and welcomes the return of Gunjan who is also doing a song on the album. Other featured artists are Josh, who both produced and sang on the album, along with Kamfrantic.

Bikram describes this album as having a much more solid set up showing his growth as an artist over the past year. This album he says is a more “fun” album with interesting lyrics and even more Desi sounds. He also incorporated an Egyptian vibe/beat on one of the tracks.

Currently he is scheduling a video shoot for the next single ("Ik Waari Aaja") so fans can "Balle Balle" to the Basement Bhangra Anthem which hits stores in early October!
