Meet the only all girl dance team competing at the Best of the Best competition this year – Drexel Jhalak.  As we continue our exclusive coverage of B.O.B. and the days leading up to the competition we bring you an exclusive spotlight on the all girl fusion dance team Drexel Jhalak from Drexel University in Philadelphia.

The 10 member girl group headed by president Sabaa Dam and Vice President Jasmine Gadhavi won the Phillyfest competition in January which automatically gave them a bid to Best of the Best.  In fact the girls had a goal to make it to the B.O.B. competition this year and lo and behold they achieved it!<p> 
“We want to convey our theme and we hope it comes across in our dances,” said Sabaa.  The team fuses such dance elements as modern, classical, hip hop and even Bhangra.  Sabaa tells us they enjoy the artistic elements of dance and that’s why you’ll rarely find props in their performances.  The question is – will the first all female team competing tae home the whole competition?  Guess we’ll have to wait until April 19th to find out!
