The judge is one of the most crucial aspects in any dance show.  Judges are the deciding factor in who takes home the title in the Best of the Best competition.  So as Desi Hits! continues with our coverage of the competition we bring you a spotlight on the judge…

Obviously without the judge the winner wouldn’t be decided, but there’s more to a judge then meets the eye.  The tricky aspect of competing in front of judges is that no one really knows exactly what the judges are looking for. 
For BOB, 7 judges are chosen – two per each category and one overall judge that has extensive knowledge of all aspects of each category of dance.  And overall performance is based on the wow factor, creativity and execution of performance.

It’s obvious what’s expected from the teams when reading this quote: “The team that can not only hit what is expected of them (quality formations, entry/exit, creativity), but also what is generally expected of a dance group crowned the BEST”!
