Bhangra Boy Band Alert: En Karma

Desi Hits! brings you a first listen to the newest talked about bhangra boys, En Karma! Check out the audio teaser below for their first single, an upbeat and dancey track, 'Tohar Naal Jeena'! The En Karma guys, Ricky (bass guitar), Ravi (dhol), Pip (drums), Inder (vocals), Nick (keyboard) and JP (dholak), dub themselves "North America's first bhangra band." Points for confidence! En Karma apparently already has a hip fan following, while establishing themselves as artists in the bhangra-fusion music scene since 2006. The guys have chalked up touring creds in the Vancouver bhangra circuit with K.S. Makhan, Sarbjit Cheema, Rai Jujhar, Sukhdev Sukha, Balkar Sidhu, Signia and Debi Makhsoospuri. 'Tohar Naal Jeena' is set to release November 10th. Take a listen and tell us what you think!

thought it would be super cheesy and lame but i gotta say looks like they're potential
I like it! It sounds to have potential but definitely a battle to grow big and stay on top if that is EnKarma's reach. The desi vibe is growing and big name producers are becoming aware of the desi sound fo sho'! Great job!!!
