It's Friday and you know what that means, Desi Hits! is here to tell you if the latest B-Town film, Money Hai Toh Honey Hai, is worth your cash or not, as part of Filmi Fridays.

TRAILER

MOVIE REVIEW

CAST:  Govinda, Esha Deol, Upen Patel, Aftab Shivdasani, Celina Jaitley, Kim Sharma, Hansika Motwani, Manoj Bajpayee

PLOT:  The film centers around all of the characters, who have either lost their jobs or are miserable.  One day they all get a text message informing them they're owners of a 1,000 crore company, and they soon find out that there's a 1,200 crore loan they must repay.  So they set out on a journey to get out of debt and become millionares.

THE GOOD:  Not much to say here, except that the story line is sweet and once the solution for the failing business is decided, the concept behind the film is realized and the movie gets a little better.

THE BAD:  Where to begin!  Mindless comedy... yes it's mindless, but there has to be some laughter involved, which there was none of!  Not once did I laugh out loud throughout the whole film.  The core concept behind the film isn't revealed until you're more then halfway into the movie.  Govinda looks way too old for his part, give it a rest, you're in your fifties!  Hansika is annoying and over the top, as is Manoj Bajpayee.  And Upen Patel?... When will this kid realize he's never going to make it in Bollywood if he keeps choosing these types of films?!

THE VERDICT:  Please save three hours of your life and do not see this film if you can help it!  Let's put it this way, no honey could pay me any amount of money to ever see this movie again!
