Bollywood left Tom Cruise’s ego bruised and BAAAA-ttered at the international box office this weekend as ‘Lions for Lambs’ turned into an expensive flop.

Bollywood heart throb Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Om Shanti Om’ and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Saawariya’ reeled in hounds of viewers, easily topping ‘Lions for Lambs’ with India taking advantage of the Diwali holiday starting their new year off with a bang not just from the fireworks!

‘Om Shanti Om’, took in approximately $17 million in India, with ‘Saawariya’ finishing on a roaring $14.4 million. The states saw ‘Om Shanti Om’ taking in $1.5 million while ‘Saawariya’ produced $600,000 in the U.S, $340,000 in the UK and $100,00 in Australia.

Tom’s been CRUISING for far too long and maybe now is the time for King Khan to take his seat on the throne.
