Britney is back! Or maybe she never left? Right after wrapping the U.S. leg of her latest tour with a sexy show in L.A., Britney Spears released her latest single, "3," and it went straight to number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart!

This makes Brit Brit the first artist in over three years to debut at the top spot! And as if that wasn’t enough, this is also the pop princess' third time at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. "Baby One More Time" and "Womanizer" also debuted at number one, in 1999 and 2008 respectively. Well, if three wasn’t Britney’s lucky number already, it sure should be now!

The upbeat single is off her latest album "The Singles Collection," which is set to release on November 24 and celebrates the tabloid darling’s 10 years in the music biz. The album contains 29 of the pop diva’s hits with chart busters like "Oops!...I Did It Again," "Crazy," "Toxic" and "Womanizer."  "3" has been described as a provocative dance track with lyrics like "1, 2, 3/ Not only you and me/ Got 180 degrees/ And I'm caught in between." The song was produced by Swedish hitmaker Max Martin who also collaborated with Britney on "Baby One More Time."
