Well look at who is back on the scene!  It's R&B star Ciara and she just released her album "Fantasy Ride" yesterday!  It's her first album since 2006's "Ciara: The Evolution" and the multiplatinum star is ready to make up for lost time.  See, the album was supposed to be released last year, but of course, like seemingly everything else nowadays, the album got delayed.  Some blamed her record label.  Others blamed the leaks of two of her singles, "High Price" featuring Ludacris and "Go Girl" featuring T-Pain.  Ciara says that you can pin the delays all on her.

"With this record it seems like I had a lot of pushbacks, when I technically had one," Ciara said in an interview with MTV News. "And the one pushback was to make sure I had everything in pocket to make sure I had everything where I wanted to be."

Ciara's official first single from "Fantasy Ride," "Never Ever" featuring Young Jeezy is a really good slow song you can dance to with your significant other, but it is her latest single "Love Sex Magic" featuring Justin Timberlake that has everyone amped up.  Ciara started out in 2004 with her mega hit "Goodies" so she is no stranger to the up tempo style.  It's crazy that 5 years have already passed since then.  Time sure flies!

Ciara was ready to go all over the map with this album, experimenting with dance, funk and R&B.  She actually planned on making this a triple album!  Three CDs with just Ciara!  However, she decided against that and decided to condense all of her creative energy to one album.  Now 23 years old, she wants to show just how music she has grown up through her music.

"I'm having a bit more fun with my lyrics. I'm not afraid. In the beginning, I was conscious and really protective and somewhat scared in reference to doing some things. With this album I'm not holding back, there's a freedom. It's just the space I'm in right now."
