The Punjab police have filed an assault case against Saif Ali Khan and two others. The actor was in Patiala where he was on a shoot for his home production. Two photojournalists showed up to get some shots of Saif.  Khan did not approve of this and asked his security guards to take care of the situation. The guards allegedly took away cameras from the photojournalist and manhandled one of them.  Pawan Sharma, one of the photographers, claims that he was beaten by the guards under direction given by Saif Ali Khan and his unit members.

Khan claims that he was not present  when the incident occured . He apologized  and  says that he shares a cordial relationship with the media and he doesn't want to spoil it. He also mentioned that things like this unfortunately happen in crowded areas like Patiala.

Things like this happen?? I hope Khan wasn't trying to say that the fact that it occurs makes it ok!!

I guess we have to watch and see how this case unfolds.
