Bollywood beauty Mallika Sherawat was in NYC this week to take in Fashion Week and check out BCBG’s hot new collection. Desi Hits! met with the star to talk about her love for fashion.

The model turned actress was dressed in a cute black BCBG dress with a raw edge at the bottom and she told us that she wanted to come to Fashion Week to check out the latest trends. She was invited by BCBG CEO and designer Max Azria.

"This is the very first time I attend Fashion Week, and the BCBG show was great! I came here to observe what’s in on the international scene right now," she said.

Mallika, who is starring in the Hollywood production "Hisss," seemed happy with her visit to the hottest fashion event of the year, and inspired by the BCBG show.

"I love BCBG, it’s a classic brand. They’re not over the top, the new collection looks like something that I would wear," she revealed.
