Do you remember the hot single DESI ROCK by Swami, not so long ago? Well they are back, yes that’s right, they are back with a hot new album and hot new single, HEY HEY.

Swami’s Live Performance at the famous Music Studios in Maida Vale literally ROCKED THE PARTY and as a DesiHits intern I got to experience the spectacular from the comfort of a front row seat. I can truly say that the performance was outstanding. The amazing buzz they created amongst the audience showed just how spectacular their performance was as they switched from one hit to another. Swami was joined by Boostylz from the Bronx and Ishmael from Johannesburg who also feature in their new album Equalize, releasing on 24th September 2007.

The music produced by Swami is a mix from their British Asian bhangra root with electro and hip-hop and pop. The music is distinct and unlike any other in the Urban Desi scene!

So in the words of Swami, be prepared to ‘Desi Rock’!!
