Props to Rishi for leaving 2 Point 9! Now he can focus on making a name for himself rather than helping other artists make their own name.

I don't think jay sean and Juggy should stay with Rishi they need to break off and work with others - I think one of Jay's biggest mistakes was to do so much of his stuff with Rishi he needed to expand and grow more with non indian producers. As with veronica - why does desi hits not cover her or Juggy very much?????

waw , this comes as a shock to me. but, RR can’t stay in school for long. its time he move to university or sole practice. 2point9 was a great place to establish , grow and learn. It is probably time that he moves on and starts his own biz. paying attention in economics class, it will allow him flexibility, allow to expand his imagination and do soo many things he may have been unable to do being in 2point9. i’m not saying its a good or bad move, but definitely a challenge. there is no doubt in my mind that RR is a successful producer. no matter which label he joins or creates, if his music is good, he will excel. (note: i think his label should be named Double R records or Rishi Rich Records RRR) and regarding JS, JD, V .. they are a UNIT! they can’t break up. im sure they will be in contact and continue their scintillating music ! eh Rishi! Show em what you got! take it easy bruff

I'm confused... I though Rishi Rich started the 2point9 record label and therefore part (even lead) of its management? I guess I could see getting frustrated and parting ways when things get diverted from your own vision Hopefully this way 2point9 and Rishi Rich will be able to furhter enlighten us with their unique music!

agree with Meera K - the new world as we know it is changing for the best. Artists need to find ways to promote themselves through the web on internet radio shows that don't care for just the big names and the big labels who monopolize terrestrial radios stations anyway because they can afford to pay for play which is just wrong. B4U and Sony do the same thing now too, I have been trying to get my stuff on them and they want you to pay. Rishi has a great name he doesn't need to rely on traditional methods anyway...

I think Rishi Rich left 2 Point9 because they had the AC on too high everyday and he got sick of having to work at the studio in that big old jacket in the pic.He couldnt twiddle his knobs properly. One other question,why the hell is Rishi wearing a wall clock on his wrist?

its the best way forward for him - independant labels are doing well, and if he comes up with a sick album he'll get some big offers without a middleman taking a cut so now is the time! do your thing rishi- may the force be with you!!

Why is everyone getting emotional? he's still alive and not giving up music! Now hes left his management team and he's his own man we'll probably see the best of him. I think its cos he had to do all the work and wasnt getting enough acclaim. His album The Project was fantastic and should have sold bucket loads. I guess you can blame the management for that. Good Luck Rish whatever you do !!!!!!
