The major success of Karan Johar's "Dostana" had many speculating whether there would be a sequel to the smash hit.  Well if you're one of those people then we're here to put your wondering to rest because a sequel to 'Dostana' is all set to happen! 

Producer Karan Johar and director Tarun Mansukani are all for making a sequel which will again be based on the friendship between John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan's characters, who pretended to be a gay couple in the original film, but no word on whether Priyanka Chopra and Bobby Deol will appear in the film.

Director Tarun is busy working on the script and wants to make sure it's a gripping story that justifies a sequel, not just another way to make money off the first film's success.  Sounds like a smart director to us, but let's see how the script turns out first!

Word is part 2 will show the friends as they travel from Miami to Punjab as they try to prove to everyone that they are in fact straight.  But of course they are caught in situations which make it difficult to dispel their claims.  So it looks like we're going to be getting tons more pretend gay antics. Why do we have a feeling the ''Maa Da Ladla' bit with Abhishek's mom played by Kiron Kher, will be in the sequel?
