Last year, some Bollywood stars attended the Indian Lakme Fashion Week. This year, however, there was an overdrive as several Bollywood stars came to walk the ramp. Many well-known actors and actresses including Akshay Kumar, Shahrukh Khan, Arjun Rampal, and others have attended the Lakme Fashion Week which started during the last week of March for five days. Renowned fashion models also had the privilege to appear in this event along with most of the Bollywood stars to represent a different theme posed by recognizable fashion designers like Tarun Tahiliani and Manish Malhotra.

One of the fashion shows happened to be from Vikram Chatwal Hotel which sponsored the Fashion for Relief Charity Party for the Mumbai Terror Attack victims. This year's new face at the Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai was none other than Vikram Chatwal's muse Naomi Campbell, who made an appearance just about everywhere.

Arjun Rampal and his wife Mehr Jesia, Rahul Bose, Kunal Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar,Malaika Arora Khan, and special guests included model and actor Milind Soman and supermodel Naomi Campbell (wearing a sari) walked the ramp for the tribute to the November 26, 2008 Mumbai bombings.

So there you have it. Most of these stars contributed to Lakme Fashion Week for a cause and to showcase a famous fashion designer's talent to make a beautiful outfit and have a star elegantly walk the ramp to show its beauty.
