We reported to you recently that rising star Freida Pinto  was signing on to star in a Woody Allen film and now we have even more details to tell you about!  Seems like Miss Pinto will be in the company of some pretty huge Hollywood names!  Freida’s co-stars will be Naomi Watts, Josh Brolin, Anthony Hopkins and Antonio Banderas!  The 48 year old Banderas will descend upon London this summer with the rest of the cast for filming.  While we can’t tell you yet whether Freida will be starring opposite Banderas as her love interest or not, if they are we can bet things are going to get totally steamy!  After all Antonio isn’t known to be a hot Latin lover for nothing… anyone remember ‘Original Sin?’

This isn’t the only big news for Freida though.  The Mumbai based former model has decided to move to New York City to focus on her career in Hollywood.  Kind of a bold move, as just a month ago Freida was telling the press she didn’t see the need to move to Hollywood, and would be staying in Mumbai travelling back and forth from the States.  Well, either way it does seem like a smart choice to move the US, as it will be easier for her to nab roles and keep herself in the Hollywood limelight, because as we all know the business can be very fickle. 

We can’t wait to see where Freida’s career takes her, as it’s another great step for a South Asian actress in Hollywood.  Woody Allen’s film is set to start filming this June in London and we’ll be keeping an eye out for any more gossip regarding it!  So for now let us know what you think of Freida starring in a film with all these big Hollywood names.
