It’s no surprise to anyone that Freida Pinto is having a good year. The movie “Slumdog Millionaire” has been a success in both Hollywood and Bollywood winning and being nominated for countless awards. And Freida Pinto is getting awards and offers as well.

Well now the actress has been asked to be on the cover of ANOKHI Magazine’s 6th Anniversary Collector’s Issue. She has also been invited to the awards gala hosted by ROGERS which will take place in Toronto at the Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex. This will be the one and only time Freida Pinto will be in Canada before she is off to London for the BAFTAs followed by a trip to Los Angeles for the Oscars.

The magazine is known for printing South Asian fashion, lifestyle, and entertainment news. Their annual ‘Sexy and Successful Gala’ honors those South Asians who are a success in their arts field. Some of the other special guests include media personalities Farah Nassar, Veronica Chail, and Devo Brown. One of the bands performing will be Swami whose new song titles we recently released to you.

We are sure ANOKHI will host a fabulous party that will honor those South Asians who are in film, music, and fashion for their hard work and effort.
