Freida Pinto has fast become the new 'it girl' in Hollywood thanks to her role in the Golden Globe winning film, 'Slumdog Millionaire'!  Seems like the 25 year old Mumbai based model's name is on the lips of every major Hollywood player and everyone is buzzing about her beauty.  But did you know that she was once going to be in a Bollywood film, but ended up turning it down?!

That's right, while Freida became a successful model, ever since she was five years old she had always dreamed of becoming a famous actress.  While she had no famous godfather or link to the film industry she went through the modeling route instead, hopefully being able to land films eventually.

So how and why did she turn down a Bollywood film?  Well it seems the lovely lass turned down a film after a director ordered her to strip for a sex scene!  Plus get this - the director wasn't even planning to use the shots in the finished product of the film!  Ewww... sounds like a case of the casting couch to us!  What a sleaze!  While Freida Pinto had done many sexy shoots as a model for Elite Model Management, she still refused to do the film.

Thank goodness she did, because if she did do the film, who knows if she would've been chosen for the role of Latkita in 'Slumdog Millionaire.'  Just imagine for a second if she did do the Bollywood film, she may just have ended up as a B-grade Bollywood actress!  Funny to imagine isn't it?
