The divorce drama just don't stop! Madonna performed in Boston last night, following her public announcement from earlier that day that she and husband of seven-and-a-half years, director Guy Ritchie, are separating. Fans went insane as Madonna jabbingly dedicated a track onstage called 'Miles Away', which she reportedly wrote for Ritchie, cueing the tune with: "Anybody who knows someone who is emotionally retarded? God knows I do"! Aside from being politically incorrect, Madge's inquiry might have been a response to Ritchie's deeming the marriage a 'circus'! Oh, how fun! Ritchie said that Madonna's "obsessed with her own public image, obsessed with being seen as some kind of global soothsayer". The tongue-lashing continued with Ritchie trying to bring Madonna back down to earth (good luck with that! She's freakin' Madonna!): "It's silly, she's a pop star", and, "Unfortunately, she can't live without all the hoopla. Our marriage was a three-ring circus in the end".
