It's an extremely sad day in Hollywood as yet another talented young actor has been found dead. Heath Ledger was found dead in his NYC apartment by his housekeeper at around 3:35 ET Tuesday.

The actor 28, has a two year old daugthter with former Dawson's Creek actor Michelle Wiliams. The two were engaged but split back in September. Ledger was set to play the Joker in the upcoming Batman film "The Dark Knight." He received an Academy Award nomination for his work in "Brokeback Mountain." Just last week actor Brad Renfro was found dead at his Los Angeles home. The cause of Ledger's death remains unknown.
