Hrithik Roshan and co-star Barbara Mori's on screen romance, has created a torrent of off screen chaos. It began with the rumor that Hrithik left wife Suzanne Roshan for the sultry Spanish actress and now Hrithik is clearing it up by talking about his character in Kites.

Kites showed in Cannes recently and received good response. The film, directed by Anurag Basu and produced by Rakesh Roshan stars Hrithik Roshan and Spanish actress Barbara Mori. It follows a romance between a Latino girl and an Indian boy who are restricted by language barriers. Hrithik stars as a salsa teacher with Barbara Mori as Kangana, his eager dance student.

Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori are excited about how the film's turned out, yet apprehensive about the kissing and love making scene, especially since this kind of intimacy isn't prevalent in Bollywood films. No doubt, the two are also wary of the response the film will evoke because of perpetuating rumors about a romance between them.

"A lot has been said about the kissing scene in Kites but let me tell you the film is not about sex, lust, passion, animal instincts. It is a beautiful sensual love story," said Hrithik Roshan. He explains that the kissing and love making scene in Kites show his character as a romantic, entwined in a passionate tale of two lovers.

Speaking more on the kissing scene, and being comfortable with it, he said, "As far the kiss is concerned, I was trying my best to make Barbara comfortable while she in return was trying to do the same."

The film is set to be released in India in October. Who knows what gossip will have unwound by that time, but lookout for more from Hrithik Roshan on his Kites character.
