He may have the body of a Greek God, but is Hrithik Roshan all set to play Lord Ram in his next film? Well, word is Hrithik's father-in-law, Sanjay Khan wants him to play Lord Ram in his film, 'The Legend of Rama.' If you believe the gossip, then Hrithik is already signed on, plus Sanjay has roped in his own son, Zayed Khan to play the role of Ram's younger brother, Laxman! Plus directors have finalized Amitabh Bachchan to play the role of King Dasharth, Ram and Laxman's father.
According to sources the film will be made along the lines of 'The Lord of the Rings' trilogy with the Ramayan being adapted into a modern format. Hmm... now we wonder who will be playing the roles of Sita, Hanuman and Ravan!

Have you seen the old Ramayana or Maharabharata movies!!! They could use the digital/technological makeover! I know many Hindu purists will not be happy with almost everything from the casting to the adaptations but I think a modern made movie will be a good opening of interest which if ones wants can be further explored in whatever context they find appropriate. The media can be a source of knowledge.
