Imran Khan made the most talked-about debut of the year with ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’ and is currently making box-office waves with his latest film, ‘Kidnap’. Although he comes from an illustrious family which includes uncle Aamir Khan and grandfather Nasir Hussain Khan, he was relatively unknown until the film launched. 

Imran was born in Madison, Wisconsin but moved to Mumbai with his mother at the age of two, shortly after his parents divorced. The 25-year-old Capricorn was born on January 13th, 1983 and originally aspired to become a director. He claims he never thought he could’ve become an actor, but his fans would definitely disagree!

It seems like Imran has the Midas Touch as every major movie he’s acted in has gone on to make Bollywood history. His real debut film, ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ in which he starred as the younger version of Aamir Khan, was wildly successful as was his second film as a child actor, ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander’. 

Uncle Aamir may have had a lot of influence on Imran, but it looks like he is quickly coming out from underneath his shadow!
