‘In the Mind of Nitin Sawhney’ is a compilation by Nitin Sawhney himself and is meant to represent the Top 14 songs that inspired this great South Asian musician. Nitin Sawhney is one of the most well known names in the Asian Underground music scene. He’s created the score for Mira Nair’s recent release, ‘The Namesake.’ Desi Hits! has just learned that Nitin is also in works to produce 3.5 hours of music for Sony Playstation 3’s Heavenly Sword (starring Andy Serkis) – widely regarded as being the most anticipated game in videogame history!!! If this isn’t enough, he’s also working on the score of ‘The Fifth Beatle,’ a major studio film currently in production.
