There’s no doubt that many people in the Urban Desi industry consider Canadian rapper Blitzkrieg’s album, ‘The Rhyme Book’ to be the most bangin’ Hip Hop album of 2007. Well, the Urban Desi Show DJs (Arun & P) couldn’t agree more and that’s why they named ‘The Rhyme Book’ the best Hip Hop album of 2007 during the Desi Hits! Awards Radio Show.

But the accolades don’t end there… Blitz has been nominated for the ‘Best Newcomer’ and ‘Best Urban Artist’ at the upcoming 2008 UK Asian Music Awards (AMA)! But is this really a surprise? With Blitz’s massive success around the world and especially the UK, it’s easy to see why he would be nominated. Not to mention the fact that his UK Twenty2K tour was a massive success.

After the tour it was clear to see that the UK could not get enough Blitz, so he returned to film a live performance with Gunjan and Tigerstyle complete with a 14 piece band in London in December to air on a Prime Time television.
