Shalini, why does an artist have to scream "I'm ASAIN" to everyone? Just because he doesn't choose to use Kamaljit Jhooti doesn't mean he's not proud to be Desi. Who cares about race or nationality, what matters in the MUSIC. And there's no doubt about Jay makes great music as does Raghav.

Damn everyone needs to calm down! As for Raghav staying true to his roots and culture and Jay not doing so, there's no way to compare the two. Jay was never a Hindi or Punjabi singer and he never claims to be while Raghav started out singing in both Hindi and English. To say that Jay's sold out is not correct. Jay is a great artist in his own right and so is Raghav. They both have their own things. If you would've asked someone who Raghav is or who Jay is back in 2004 or 05 in the US people would've have known Raghav over Jay, but things have changed now with Jay getting signed to Cash Money. Personally I've had the pleasure of meeting both of them and they are both great guys, although I feel that Jay shows his true personality to the media, while Raghav surpreses his. Raghav is quite hillarious and down to earth I just wish he;d show it more often in the media and in interviews. So to end it there's no right or wrong answer. They are both different artists and they can't be compared to one another.

Commercially this is a blowout...Jay is far more successful then Raghav. Artistically Jay has proven that his songs become bigger hits. Style wise, Jay continues to grow and take chances. Raghav is a good singer who has not yet become a good artist. Perhaps as singers they are comparable, much like Justin is to Neyo, but as artists, Jay is much further up the food chain.
