Guess who's not your typical one-trick pony? Aside from oozing style, charm and talent, Jay Sean dabbles in penning lyrics for up-and-coming singers! And he's getting industry props for it! Jay received a British Music Industry Songwriter Award this week at the Black Tie Gala in London for his heavily-spun radio track, 'Deal With It', which he co-wrote with producers Cutfather and Joe. The track was written for Disney Channel's 'High School Musical' rising star, Corbin Bleu.

'Deal With It' peaked at over 120,000 radio hits in the US alone! 'I have a lot of respect for songwriters and producers as they are the people behind the songs we all love, but who often go unnoticed', beams an appreciative Jay.
