There are so many reasons for R&B sensation Jay Sean to be happy right now. First his catchy single "Down" hit the #1 slot on the Billboard hot 100 Chart earlier this month, and even though it was knocked off by Britney Spears' "3," it made its way up again to the top spot last week.

Then the Lil Wayne protégé got the opportunity to perform on the popular U.S. program The Ellen DeGeneres Show where he got the whole audience to get down to "Down."

But there’s nothing like being part of a family and now Jay can say that he is truly a full-fledged member of the music community that is Cash Money Records. The singer has received the Cash Money Billionaires chain, a true honor for the first U.K. member of the famous record company. For the founders, it takes more than just selling records and signing a contract to become a true member of the Cash Money family.

So how does it feel to earn this honor? Well Desi Hits! asked Jay about his latest venture and this is what he had to say:

"Wow. That's all I can say right now. Wow!! I really wasn't expecting this and more than anything I just feel blessed to be part of the Cash Money family. They have my back 100% and this is just one more way of them showing me that. They've taken me in as their own and this is an extremely generous gift. I feel very blessed."
